As you know by now or if you didnt its getting harder to protect links on a page. Well thanks to DLE and its eaiser with the Leech option. This is a life saver but not many people know how to use it. So this is a tutorial. if you have a link to put on your page you normally put it in the code brackets and hide brackets but with leech you can better protect your links from someone right clicking them and copying them. but that isnt always enough. leech has a hidden feature that most people dont know about if you click leech you get this "[ leech=http://][/leech ]" without the quotes of corse and spaces what you do is replace the http:// with your link and you get this.
"[ leech=http://www.yourlink.com][/leech ]" again without the " and the spaces so on the page it looks like this
but if you right click and copy you get
This does not do anyone any good but as you see you still can see the actual link
http://www.yourlink.com and if someone knows how to look at your page source they can still get the link. To help protect your link better do this instead. press the lech button and get
"[ leech=http://][/leech ]" and again replace the http:// but where you see ][ put a word in there.
"[ leech=http://www.yourlink.com]Protected Link[/leech ]"
Now when you look at the page they see Protected Link only
but the link still works but if they look at the source page they wont see the link all they see is the
"http://www.yoursite.com/link.php?url=aHR0cDovL3d3dy5ma" "Protected Link"
